Does anyone know how to find out about HUGHESNET as in how much it costs per month?

They are very good at what they do. the Linksys WRT54g is a pretty solid one.
Not much you can do to speed up your connection with HughesNet. but you might also be able to make use of the free INET wireless connection made available at McDonalds.

go to your browser and type in the IP address of the default gateway.

blogspot. meaning something like a 0. If you are connecting wirelessly you will need to go to your Network Connections option in Control Panel and view the available wireless networks in order to connect to yours.
In my parents area (I dont remember the exact numbers) but the download limit is lower than what I use simply browsing the internet (with no downloading/uploading of other files. Why do not you just go for aol or windows live if all you want is basic e-mail.
